Location
Córdoba is Argentina's second largest city as well as the capital of the province with the same name. It has become a recognized historic and cultural center due to its strategic location in the heart of the country. Córdoba, known as "La Docta" (from the Latin docere, meaning "to teach"), has become the home to more than 130,000 students from around the world who seek to gain not only academic knowledge but also cultural immersion.Experiencing Córdoba's surrounding nature and wildlife destinations is an absolute must. The nearby lakes and rivers attract water sports enthusiasts from around the world, while local mountains and valleys are ideal for hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, hand gliding, and other outdoor activities.
This modern city, with its state-of-the-art shopping centers and 5-star hotels, stands out among other important capital cities worldwide. The Cordobés charm cannot be missed in the numerous nightlife activities, which include restaurants, shows, dance clubs, and pubs. In terms of industry, Córdoba is known for its automotive factories, cement and aeronautical production, oil and dairy manufacturing, among other businesses.

Program Dates
Please note that this site observes the Southern Hemisphere academic calendar. If you want to study for a full-year in the southern hemisphere, consider starting your program at the beginning of their academic year in February or March. Some institutions offer annual rather than semester courses. For southern hemisphere programs, ISEP benefits do apply during the recess between semesters (June-July), whereas they do NOT apply between the end of one academic year and the beginning of a new academic year (December to February-March).Academic year: early March to December; Semester 1: early March to July; Semester 2: August to late November.
Intensive Spanish Pre-session Program: It takes place twice a year, one starts on the first Monday of February and the other one begins the first Monday of July. The total length of the course is four weeks (not included in ISEP benefits).

Option 2: ISEP-Direct semester: Special Courses Taught in English + Beginner Spanish Language Courses Offered August-November ONLY
This program was created for international students without enough Spanish for the regular program courses (above). Students enroll in a Beginner or Intermediate Spanish course and choose from the following courses in English: Argentine History through Economic Processes, International Business, Marketing, and Literature and Movies

ISEP-Exchange programs allow students to participate in reciprocal exchanges with students at ISEP member institutions worldwide, while paying their home university tuition. Students attending US universities that are ISEP-Exchange members are eligible to apply for these programs at other international ISEP-Exchange member universities. Chances of placement vary by location.
ISEP-Direct programs allow students to enroll directly in a host institution abroad, instead of exchanging places with another student. Chances of placement are typically excellent for qualified applicants and some sites offer special academic programs and excursions. Students attending US universities that are either ISEP-Exchange members or ISEP-Direct members can participate in ISEP-Direct programs abroad.
